Last September Joe Davidson, a member of the Orchard of the Future program leadership team, gave a short research presentation at FIRA USA 2023 (Salinas, California, USA). The topic of the presentation was an overview of the robotic pruning research occurring within the AI Institute for Transforming Workforce and Decision Support (https://agaid.org/). FIRA 2024 is set to take place in the Sacramento region, well known for its rich agricultural heritage and productivity. The Netherlands and US partners will be embarking on an innovation mission, and will be attending the event, among other activities.  Stay tuned for more information in the coming months.
